Nohea Tano

  • Born & raised in Hawaii (Kamehameha Schools Kapalama, 2000)

  • Competed in Volleyball and Track & Field at KSK

  • Member of three (3) Hawaii State Champion Volleyball teams (1997-1999)

  • Played Volleyball at Washington State University (2000)

  • Played Volleyball at University of Hawaii at Manoa (2001-2004)

  • Member of 2002 & 2003 NCAA Final Four teams at UH under Hall of Fame coach Dave Shoji

  • Graduated with a Sociology Degree from UH in 2004

  • Coached Volleyball for 7 years including two (2) years in Arizona and five (5) years in Hawaii

  • Assistant Girls JV & Varsity Volleyball Coach at University Lab School (2017-2019)

  • Assistant Boys Varsity Volleyball Coach at University Lab School (2018-2019)

Will Howard

  • Born & raised in Illinois (Rock Falls High School, 2002)

  • Competed in Cross Country, Basketball, and Track & Field at RFHS

  • Played Basketball at Sauk Valley Community College (IL) (2002-2004)

  • Member of 2003 NJCAA Region IV Championship team at SVCC under Hall of Fame coach Russ Damhoff

  • Played Basketball at Saint Ambrose University (IA) (2004-2006)

  • Member of 2005 NAIA National Tournament team at SAU under Hall of Fame coach Ray Shovlain

  • Graduated with a Physical Education Teaching Degree from SAU in 2007

  • Earned a Master’s Degree in Education with an emphasis in Coaching from Greenville University (IL) in 2024

  • Coached Boys Basketball for the past 17 years including two (2) years in Iowa & Illinois, five (5) years in Arizona, and the past ten (10) years in Hawaii

  • Physical Education Teacher, Head Boys Intermediate Coach, and Assistant Boys Varsity Coach at University Lab School

  • USA Basketball Youth Gold Certified Coach
